Vikram Sarabhai was born into a wealthy and influential Jain family known for its philanthropic endeavors. His father, Ambalal Sarabhai, was a prominent industrialist, and his mother, Sarla Devi, was a dedicated philanthropist. This environment of intellectual and social activism deeply influenced Sarabhai’s worldview.

Bhagwan Mahaveer was born in 599 BC in Kundgram, near Vaishali in Bihar, India. He vehemently opposed the practice of animal sacrifices, drawing followers from all strata of society, including royalty, scholars, and the common folk.
