We are excited to inform you that the Jainam Jivika Foundation, based in Pune, India, is embarking on a project to publish a series of books exploring various facets of Jainism. In this inaugural phase, we are set to publish five books covering the following themes:
Jain Art & Architecture
Jain Philosophy
Jain History
Jain Code of Conduct
Jain Community
Recognizing your esteemed reputation as a Jain scholar, we invite you to contribute your scholarly insights to our forthcoming publications. We invite you to select a subtopic within your area of expertise for inclusion in one of the books above.
For instance, if you choose to contribute to the book on Jain Art & Architecture, your article could, for example, focus on subjects such as ‘Art and Architecture at Ranakpur Jain Temple,’ ‘Jain Temples of Karnataka,’ or other similar topics.
After publication, you will receive two complimentary copies of the book featuring your article.
Additionally, as a token of appreciation for your contribution, the foundation will provide a remuneration of INR 1000 per article. Although we acknowledge that this amount may be modest, we kindly appeal to your generosity and understanding of our non-profit status.
An Appeal to Jain Scholars
Guidelines for Your Submission:
- Each article should be between 1500 to 3000 words, accompanied by proper references.
- If possible, please support your article with relevant photographs.
- Previously published articles authored by you are welcome, provided you hold the rights to them.
- Kindly submit your article in MS Word format.
- Along with your submission, please include a brief bio highlighting your academic background and achievements. Additionally, kindly provide 2-3 close-up photographs of yourself in jpg/png format.
- You may submit more than one article.
